So while reducing the number of calories you consume, your body still will become more efficient at burning fat for energy that you need. Therefore, if you want to lose weight that consistently over time, you should be working towards decreasing your calorie consumption. As long as you consume fewer than your BMR, you should be able to reduce weight loss and keep on losing weight even after you stop consuming fewer calories or even drastically decrease your calorie intake completely.

2. Incorporate whole foods into your daily meals:
 
When it comes to nutrition, it is essential to include various types of foods and nutrients in our diets. For example, instead of eating a burger, you could eat a whole-wheat sandwich where you are getting an entire serving of vegetables and fruits. These kinds of meals are packed full of fiber that helps lower cholesterol levels and increases satiety, allowing you to feel fuller longer. Another option would be including protein in your diet. There are several high-quality sources of protein in nature but they all vary slightly in quality, such as meat, nuts, eggs, beans, seafood, lentils, soybeans, etc. Most people tend to skip the added sugars or fats in processed foods that they need to have while still maintaining an active lifestyle. Additionally, since the average adult only consumes 100–200 calories per day, consuming whole foods provides you with a more balanced meal without sacrificing your caloric intake. Just remember that all that time and money you are spending going out and buying those sugary beverages and junk foods might as well be spent making you healthier by improving your nutrient consumption.

3. Drink more water: 
 
Water plays a huge role in keeping us hydrated. Our bodies are made up primarily of water. If you constantly feel thirsty throughout the day, you need to drink a large amount of water. Even during periods of intense workouts or strenuous activity, you need to replenish water through sweat or urine. Many people forget that we also need fluids in order to properly regulate our blood pressure and manage other fluid balances in between our organs. They are especially needed when exercising. For most people, drinking 8 glasses of water throughout the day, either throughout the day or several times a day, can help you maintain proper hydration.

As mentioned previously, there are many ways that you can incorporate dietary and nutritional supplements into your daily regimen. One way is by adding minerals, vitamins, and herbal extracts into your diet such as: calcium; magnesium; iron; vitamin E; zinc; omega-3 fatty acids, and so on.
